For their rock-themed fundraiser party and art auction, Artspace asked me to help create a name and identity for the event to draw crowds with a fun, glam atmosphere. After picking their brains on their dream guests (David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix, Björk…) and ideal outfits (gold lamé, skinny ties, velvet smoking jackets) and motto (For those about to rock, we salute you!), I suggested the name AMPLIFY and created this postcard to set the tone for the event.
I’m now working with the Artspace team to take the identity to the website, online advertising and print materials for the event. Event website, by Miguel Diaz, at www.artspacegala.org.
